My Cooler Master Storm Trigger mini-review - Page 5

The amperage of the adapter doesn't matter. As long as the voltage and polarity match, then you'll be fine. 350mAh is the minimum recommended - however, you can plug a charger that gives, say, 2A and it'll be fine. The board will only pull the amperage it needs.

PS
I'll probably rage and throw my mouse across the room before the feet wear out rolleyes.gif

For some reason Photoshop won't open my Camera's RAW images.. I thought maybe if I was able to fiddle with the white balance I'd be able to get that deep red it has..

I noticed that the trigger only has a 6 key roll over. Has anyone experienced any problems with this low number of key roll over?

Trigger (and I think most of the CM boards) have 6+4 rollover over USB. This is normal, good and fine. You can hit 6 letters and up to 4 modifiers like shift and ctrl at the same time. This is also why wasd took over. It is easier to set up a gaming cluster of rollover and anti-ghost with them.... If you need, you can hook them up with a proper usb to ps/2 adapter to get nkro. But unless there are 3 of you typing at the same time, you don't need that. There are some boards coming soon with 30kro over usb, but I know of no one that has 30 fingers. On this I think Ripster and I agree. If you want to see the 30kro look for the Computex thread I wrote. I have video of Ducky, iOne, I-Rock and costar developments. All have new goodies out soon. If you can wait, the ducky Shine II will blow you away.

Instead of getting a Win key or picking that nit, why not just get auto-hotkey and make a macro of the win+run+program you need? Macros win in the end.

Costar vs other? Costar wins, but the others are catching up fast. These are exciting keyboard times my friends.

Red vs Brown switch? I thought I would never give up my browns. Now that I have used Red for a year you will have to pry them from my cold dead fingers.

Thanks for the info. Had a look at your post about the ducky Shine II and i'm not impressed about the differences between the 1st and 2nd versions. The Ducky Shine here in Australia is already overpriced and to have the equivalent of the CM trigger it would be $129 vs $188 (Shine + palm rest).

Can you press more than 6 keys at the same time while gaming? I was like you when I first decided to get a mech keyboard, I was like omgbbqsauce I have to get NKRO for bigger epeen, but in the end logic wins. If you have one hand on your mouse and the other on the keyboard there's no way 5 fingers can press more than 6 keys at a time.

Your palm on the spacebar biggrin.gif
Besides that, unless you are born with 6 fingers.

But really NKRO is a useless feature
