PS. No WD40 for this one. Get some silicon grease or other non corrosive non conducting lube.

That would involve opening up the switches and from what I have read that would mean desoldering them and I would have no clue how and it would most definitely violate the warranty. Another warranty violating suggestion I have read about was filling the inside of the PCB/plate area with liquid foam.

I was just thinking of greasing the stabilizers and stems. That worked for me. Try the easy fixes first. Then go for the foam, we love foam.

I hope you can help this new member. My Trigger lights for caps lock and scroll lock come on together. I didn't notice at first but it's annoying. Seems wrong as I've never had a KB do this before. Do I have a lemon? I wrote to CM bu I still haven't heard an answer to my previous question.
Thanks!!

Update:
I got confirmation from CM that it's defective. I am returning it. Based on my overall experience I'm not getting another. I ordered a Tesoro. Hopefully better.

Anyone know when the UK extended edition is coming with cherry red switches, been waiting for this keyboard since last year.
I'll happily pay shipping from the US if the CM Store can send me a UK edition with cherry reds thumb.gif

I also see a Cherry brown edition, both available from the 28th of September.

Edit: I just saw scan don't send outside the UK and Ireland, I hope I can get them too as I don't see anyone else selling this exact model. worriedsmiley.gif

I have this keyboard for weeks now and I am really really happy with it, the red back light is drop dead gorgeous! I have it paired up with a G400 (Yup, just like in OP, but with a QcK mouse pad). I seriously cannot complain about this keyboard, it is really a nice piece of kit, I can understand why CM did not include the adapter, the reason is to keep the price low, good adapters are quite costly, and cheap adapters just spoil within weeks and can cause problems to the keyboard if there is a surge or something like that. The only thing I'm not really happy about is that CM did not provide an official adapter or something like that on their official website. I don't know why some Pele are raging at the fact that the keyboard did not come with the windows key activated, it was very easy to program the keys and learn how to program it, they are just lazy to google the solution , that's all.

Overall, I will give this keyboard a 9/10 rating, its the best keyboard at its price range and better than some keyboard at higher price ranges as well. Some say that the Trigger is a copy of the black widow, my response to it is very simple. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? The BWU is crap! 2KRO, Glossy finish, flickering LEDs, spoils very easily, high failure rate even though they are in this "Gaming" thing for years now.

Hey, i just got my trigger recently and i was wondering is it possible to set a "custom" mode for the backlight?

When i change the backlight mode their is this only w/a/s/d-arrow key light mode, isnt it possible to put other key to illuminate on this mode?

I read this review twice, i'm pretty sure this keyboard has a few different switch options, yet this review doesn't state which colour switches his keyboard has... Well i certainly can't see it, i read about 2-3 pages into it seeing if anyone else asked the question, nobody... What colour cherry switches does this particular one have?
