i never understood the point of having an 80 inch 1080p... the pixels are so big on those screens that it looks plain crap.

We seriously need to move past 1080p. its been what 6 years or so where we haven't took a step towards 1440p and beyond.

Smartboards require a projector, and the fat teacher is usually standing in front of it trying to write, which is kind of annoying.

Also they have a nasty tendency to wash out with background light.


Other than that though they're excellent teaching aids, and they sure as hell beat overhead projectors.
