Thats a trash card with GDDR3. its horribly slower than HD 7750 which costs the same.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gt-640-review,3214.html

from the review

"At its current SRP, this DDR3-equipped board is too expensive compared to the competition. This segment is riddled with strong competitors, (particularly the Radeon HD 7750, which blows GeForce GT 640 out of the water and sells for as low as $110) "

But it really gives me hope that the 660 will be released this june in stead of september.

lol nvidia isn't stupid to not make a gtx 660.

if they dont make one, buyers would just go for amd cards.

did you read the review at all. GT 640 released is a DDR3 version. performs as good as HD 6670 GDDR5 version. GT 640 GDDR5 when it releases will compete with HD 7750. But its no way anywhere close to GTX 560 Ti. tongue.gif

I just want SOMETHING to be released, and push the 7870 price down.. otherwise, 7850 in a few weeks is probably the route frown.gif

...... Ok this guy has no idea what hes talking about. Surely the 640 is better than the 560ti because its a higher number... rolleyes.gif 560ti craps on a 640. The 640 is worthless when the 7750 is at the same price point, and that blows it out of the water too!
