[Will Fix] Disallowed Key Characters. - Page 2

I'm just wondering if this is being looked in to, considered being fixed, or anything at all?

If you or one of the mods can make a bug report following the steps outlined in the forum announcement, I can look into it.  Looking over this thread, I'm not really sure 100% what is happening or how to reproduce it.  In general it is up to the OCN staff to verify issues and move them over for me to check out, but where there are clear reproduction steps/live examples, I will often do it myself when I have the time.

Reproducibility: Were you able to reproduce this problem consistently?

Yes, I just did.

Quote:
Repro Steps: What steps did you take to reproduce this problem?

Add another tag (examples: [img][/img] , [ quote ][ /quote ]) of any sort to the post.

This will cause the post to only display the words, "Disallowed Key Characters."

You are able to Preview the post and it looks normal, but by clicking Submit, "Disallowed Key Characters." is the only thing displayed.

Removing the additionally added tag returns the post to it's normal viewable state.

Expected: What action did you expect to occur when this bug appeared?

I expected to see the post as it shows in the Preview and display normally once Submitted.

Notes: Any additional information that will help us diagnose the issue

Just follow the Repro Steps to see it in action.

This is an additional bug: When there is a space (return) after typed words and a quote, that space between the words and quote doesn't display in the Submitted message.
Example:
Quote:
This is the first quote.

This is typed words.
Quote:
This is the second quote. The space between this quote and the words above isn't displaying, but it's there.

Okay, I made a post in the BBCode editor, edited it to add more tags, with and without preview, and even edited your post to add a quote (which I immediately reverted) to see if I got the error you are getting. I am not seeing it. Is there a step here that I am missing?

I've added the info from the OP to the post below. The only thing I've added was a quote at the bottom. If you remove the quote at the bottom of the post, the post will display normally.

Okay, odd that is the exact thing I did on your post, let me check.

Okay, filed as #9587. Not sure which element, or the combination thereof is causing this, or if it's a sheer size thing, but we'll get it figured out. Thanks for the details and effort in reporting!
