From the top, a Black Ice SR1 480 radiator is mounted in the upper compartment with 4 x 120mm Noiseblocker NB-BlackSilentPro PL-2 fans configured in a push configuration. The tubing throughout is Tygon A-60-G Norprene 1/2" ID (5/8" OD). The main compartment has positive pressure with 2 x 120mm NB-BlackSilentPro PL-2 fans blowing in through the drive cages and one 120mm fan mounted on the motherboard tray exhausting out the back. In the lower compartment, two Black Ice SR1 560 radiators are connected in series with each having 4 x 140mm Noiseblocker NB-BlackSilentPro PK-2 fans in a push configuration. Single 120mm fans exhaust out the front of both the upper and lower compartments. From the lower compartment, the loop returns to a 250mm EK-Multioption Advanced reservoir. Finally, there are three Alphacool VPP655 pumps configured in series using a Bitspower single D5 Mod Top (first in the main compartment), and a Bitspower dual D5 Mod Top (in the upper compartment).

The Alphacool VPP655 pumps are running at 4800 rpms and are virtually inaudible. A total of 17 Noiseblocker fans running ~1200 rpms are each rated at 20 dBA. Fan noise is static and barely noticeable, much less so than things like central air or the compressor in the kitchen refrigerator, which cycle on and off. The voltage required for the overclocks means CPU cores idle at an average 38C and GPU cores idle at an average 28C. Temperatures of 60C / 40C on the CPU / GPU cores during gaming are not uncommon. Unfortunately, the system is not equipped with the electronics required to measure flow rates. I can comment that the flow rate through the 250mm reservoir is right on the cusp of turbulent and it’s necessary to keep the reservoir filled to avoid air bubbles.

You can give martins flow rate caluculator a go, it will give you a pretty accurate guess at flow rate for you system.

Thank you. 18 fans if you include the one in the PSU. There are three radiators with four fans each, plus the four fans mounted on the front panel of the case, plus one fan on the motherboard tray.
