I know people have said these are pricey, but you look at a cpu block plus an 18 watt ddc, youre there. And then add sleeving (a few bucks) and needing one less set of barbs , it's likely an additional $10 in value. Also not needing hose between pump and CPU is a few cents and certainly better for airflow.

Looks like a win- win to me. Likely going to try one myself soon.

good accounting! in fact we already published this:

Lower Costof Ownership: When considering the cost of purchasing an MCP35X pump ($99.95)+ an Apogee™ HD ($74.95), the total cost at MSRP is $175; compare this to the $140 MSRP of the Apogee™ Drive II (average of three models), this is a $35 or 20% saving.

The above is MSRP so who knows what the final street price will be? but surely less than that. so it should be a very good saving.
