ArmA 2 question

Thread Starter 
Im looking to buy Arma 2 or Arma 2 Operation arrowhead.
My friends are going to buy either one but which one is currently the best for multiplayer?
If it is Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead is ok if I only had that game or do I need to get ArmA 2 for it??
response ASAP would be nice Thank!

Arma 2 and OA go together to create Combined Operations which will give you the most choices of servers to play on, they both work as standalone games but I would recommend getting both if you can.

I'm not sure, I'd say most play on servers with Combined Operations content instead of servers which are just Arma 2 or OA.
