They are deflector to allow the airflow to hit a little bit the VR and the NB, that all in detail in the previous post.

Also check page 1, second post.. that where I put new photos

I check both while the fan was powered and the new one is much better to redirect the airflow...( plus I can redirect only half the fan if I want, all "blade" are independant) the old one redirect it anywhere really and make the fan work harder because some flow just bounce back to the fan.So I will use the new model for the 140mm.

I want to replace the GPU one too but if I do I will have to add another 80mm fan right below the first one because the "New model deflector" dont split the airflow up and down. New model deflector on the 80mm will only get air to the first video card.

Yesterday I did some sanding, remove all the bitfenix smooth texture ... this morning I feel some pain in my forearm, the smooth rubber look cool but its a PITA to remove.

Talking about sanding im wondering if I should remove the paint from case inside and out or just primer right on top of it ?

I read somewhere that you better leave the stock paint if there no scratch and the paint is uniform you will have a nicer finish...

Sanding everything will be very time consuming job.

What you guys think?

Still into the sanding, The 2 mesh stripe look good .. but lets me tell you its not easy to sand with all those small corner. Right now I wish the shinobi had a flat front panel.
