That is the effect of running fixed voltage. You will only get lower idle voltage if you use offset mode. However, offset and LLC dont work well together and my board even disables LLC when I use offset mode. This means that when you use offset mode you have to set your voltage a little higher to compensate for vdroop at load.

I'm on 4.6GHz @ 1.395V (manually, no offset)... Temps reach just below 80°C when 12h stress testing (with Silver Arrow cooling)

It's high compared to others I know but hey it does the job for me...

EDIT: That is when 7GB of 8GB RAM is tested also... If I choose the High (or MAX) ram stuff It only uses 4-5GB's RAM and I'm able to drop the voltage a bit...

But with ALL max stressed I need 1.395V.

1.390V = BSOD

I was under the impression that with speedstep enabled the vcore should be going down as it downclocks the speed.

Ok I have decided I cannot deal with speedstep. It takes too long to ramp my PC up when needed in a few games and I see pretty big stuttering.

BSOD within 8 hours with new settings.

Make that in 30 minutes. Bumped pll to 1.85

I think changing the VTT to 1.1 is causing it so that is next step.

Voltage is set to 1.385 however CPUZ is showing 1.368/1.378/1.384.
Is this because of the PLL?
