Whats 75-80F in C?
First thing I would be doing is making sure all the air is bled from the loop, then I'd remount the CPU block. See where that takes you.
Will sound silly but if/when you decide to remount check that you removed the plastic film off the bottom of the block, you'd be surprised how many forget to remove that in their haste to get up and running wink.gif

Air is completely bled from the loop, I spent a good hour or so making sure there's absolutely no air. Flipped the case upside down... moved it around as much as possible, until there was absolutely no bubbles and got one tiny bubble of air in my reservoir.

I'll try remounting the CPU block later today. I was so scared of forgetting to take the plastic... that I made sure that it was the first thing that I did.

since u run cf and your psu blow warm air into your rad too this may also be of at least a little importance ( how long does it need your loop to get that temps? )
is HT on?
what is your PLL?
are you sure you need this voltage for 4.8ghz?!
try lower vcore and run prime with 1344 / 1344 k size and 80% of your ram.
there are so many reasons that can affect on the temp biggrin.gif

I'm using Artic Silver 5 for paste. I do the line in the center method, I don't think I used a lot... a small line down the center. HS is secured tight. It's got the main screws that go on and then tightened with the ones on the springs on the bottom.

HT is on... I am at work so I forget what my PLL is.. I am 100% sure I need that voltage to get this OC. I tested for around a month and there's people with higher V-Cores out there. I can easily get 4.5 at 1.35... Anyone can get that OC, but once you start to go above 4.6 the voltage starts to get much higher.

I'm also using offset voltage, so I am not really running it 24/7 at that voltage.

Also, you're right about the PSU heat getting in there... I will try to see if I can mount it on top of the case. I didn't want to do that, because the noise from the fans is loud enough that if I put it at a higher point, it'll be louder... so that's why I wanted to stay away from that... I might try flipping it up top today too.

1,45V on a sandy 2600K is too high for a day use, i would suggest to stop at 1.35V as max day use vcore voltage and check again the temp.
also, it will be useful to know yr water temp to see if the block and the rad are working properly

How would I get temp on the water? Voltage is fine, thanks for the suggestion.

What he said about voltage for the 2600k.

That's how I got the air out. I think I have gotten at least 99% of the air out of the entire loop. Like I mentioned above, I even turned the case upside down to make sure everything was out.

I have a pair of these for my dual 360 radiator loop. One to monitor the water temp coming from the water blocks, the other after it passes through the radiators and is about to go back to the water blocks.

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=32775

You won't need 2 of them, as after about 20-30 minutes, the water temp pretty much normalizes and at best (even with 2 XSPC RX360 rads) and the delta is only about 1 to 1.2C max difference.

If you mount the 360 on top I'm sure you know you'll have to use a similar mounting system as you have for the back mount, it will either have to hang over the back or over the plastic top piece (which is no problem, you got about 19" from the back to the power switch).
I have my RX240 up top and it does add some noise when I have to crank the fans wide open.

Yes its high, I was getting ~75C @ 4.8GHz 1.45V using RS240 radiator, my room temp is about 22C-23C/72-73F. Now I'm running 4.5GHz @ 1.37V and Max temp is around 62C while folding.

Noise mean bubbles mostly, however I'm not that experienced in WC. thumb.gif

Well here it is! 400

Turns out that the fans are loose from the inside cup... and so that's where the noise is coming from. Anyway of fixing it?

So I've been running Prime for the last 30 minutes and the highest temp has been 67C. Around 15C difference! I think a mixture of taking the rad off the back and also reseating the CPU block came A LONG way!

Thank you so much for the help guys!

Now anyone know what I can do about that fan?

Nice! Glad ya got ya temps sorted, seems so obvious now that it was the postion of the Rad, having two graphics cards and a PSU dumping all that warm air towards it, no wonder your temps where high!

Got it all sorted out! Yes those fans were the ones that bit the dust... I guess they did not like being put upside down instead of their sides... they were ticking, vibrating and making tons of noise! I took the fans I was using for my CM 212+ and a fan that came with the case. They are all PWM, so I am able to limit them. so they won't be too noisy.

So this is the final product:

491

And the results... From running Prime95 doing blend tests on standard settings, but set to use 6gigs of my ram and doing the tests every 3 minutes instead of 15. Had it running for 30 minutes:

450
