Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I last logged on here due to my finals but Here I am.

I've been wanting to clean my computer as it got so dirty and full of dust because I haven't had the time to clean it.

Right now I want to clean my H60's rad, can I wash it using tap water ??

Warm soapy water with a tooth brush then rinse with cold water n dry in the sun for few hours or with hair dryer.
Don't put the pump or leads in the water just the rad.

I really would not use water on it. Get something like this and blow the dust out. As long as air can get through a little bit of dust wont harm performance.

I mean, unless there are things actually stuck in the rad there is no reason to risk submerging it in water. Last time I checked tap water is not the best thing for rads.

But you know Linus from LinusTechTips actually ran tap water through his 240 rad, he ran it through on video and he said something about static won't hurt

If you have already done your research, and have already come up with an answer, why bother asking and debating?

Tap is fine. Just make sure it's dry before putting it back into your computer. Again, don't get the pump wet, only the rad.

I'm trying to collect many answers and to check which is the best!
