GamersGate announced a free game service long ago and now it's here. Releasing today in the US and Canada and soon to release in Scandinavia, the service allows you to play games in exchange for watching commercials.
Don't know the details yet, only received the announcement email, hopefully we can play some triple A titles on this service.

Triple-A games would require watching a 1 hour long ad for a 30 minutes gameplay.

I just downloaded a game.. All I get is a buffering video message then a black screen. cant see or hear any ad but If i click the blank screen it opens warcraft catacylsm webpage. never get to play the game though.. games are too lame to fool with it anymore. oh well. was a nice try for a service while it lasted. lol

If this is true Ill gladly watch those commercials... But lets see how it goes, its a really smart bet actually, since the actual revenue comes from the commercial and not the gamers, theres no downside to this.
