mechanical keyboard with spacious keys

Hello everyone,

I've been using a razor blackwidow for about a year. I like it but one of the keys is now stuck and ive always felt the keys are too small or too close together. Im looking for a replacement with larger keys.

I do not care too much about the key type mainly because i dont have any experience with anything other than the mx blues in this keyboard. Id like to try a different type. This is primarily for gaming (fps and blizzard games).

I've been looking at the steelseries 6gv2, 7 and some of those filco keyboards. The filco seem hard to get in the US however. Also, neither amazon or newegg provides info on the individual key length which is unfortunate. Feel free to suggest alternatives.

Recommendations?

Cherry MX keys generally have the same dimensions, but can have different heights. For example, stock keys on boards tend to be taller than custom ones, but they are the same width and length.

Interesting, thanks for replies.

I did more research and am debating between the filco tkl and wasd semicustom. I think I will try the cherry blacks or reds.

How do you like your filco? Any experience with wasd?

With the black widow I click the wrong key frequently, usually one over to the left or right.. I don't have this problem on other keyboards. I want to avoid that with my next purchase.

Look into Max Keyboard. I have Nighthawk X9 with Cherry MX Red switches (linear). They also have a couple of models with Cherry MX Browns (tactile) LEDs are customizable during the ordering, or you can do that yourself later on.

What about Corsair K60 and K90? No one mentioned them... are they bad?

I think if you want the keys spaced out you may want to avoid Filco. I love them, but I wouldn't label them as "spaced out" by any means.
