Hey I am just wondering what windows rates most people's disk transfer rates with ssds. Mine went from 5.4 to a 7.1 with my Ocz agility 3 ssd. Does it vary much with each ssd or if you migrated is or did a fresh install? Just curious.

Mine was a fresh install on a Crucial M4 and it rated it 7.9. Maybe it does make a difference if it's a fresh install or not?

If you are talking about the windows experience index rating, then mine went to 5.4 to a 7.4.Also,I did a fresh install instead of a disk image.it seems I had more people suggesting I do that instead.

Also could be you have a smaller SSD. I know smaller size SSD's tend to have slower transfer ratings. Because Fish and I have the same kind of SSD, Crucial M4, but mine's a 128GB version and his is a 64GB version, and he ended up with a 7.4 while I ended up with a 7.9

Cool. It is not a problem is just curious how much it varies. I also just remembered I never turned on ahci and that could make a difference.
