Looking at my sig rig, what should I upgrade next? Need a reasonable upgrade (nothing super expensive). Rig is mainly for gaming, movies, music, netflix, and a bit of video editing.

Could be anything from CPU, to monitors (No keyboard, mouse, etc.)
Watercooling and case stuff would be reasonable also.

Doesn't matter what brand
AMD or Intel
ATI or Nvidia
etc.

Around $500-$1,000 (depends if I really need it or not.)

Seems like a good all-round build. Unless you feel you'd see a performance increase from a CPU upgrade, there is little point but a 2500K would be nice. I'd get a second screen if I were you and maybe putting the GPU under water too.

If new get a 3570k Ivy Bridge + a Gigabyte Ud3 Mother board + a Nvidia gtx 670

If buying Used get a 2500k Sandy Bridge Gigabyte Ud3 motherboard and aNvidia gtx 580.

You have ssd..eyefinity gpu..PSU is kinda small
Watercooling is good..
I killed a CPU like yours last week frown.gif ...clocked it to 5 ghz..didn't even get boint 1 frown.gif
It's really just an overpriced Clarkdale
2 cores with hyperthreading..not good for games
as an alternative:
x79 mobo and 3930K
