Part 2 - MDPC Sleeving Guide
This video will show you how to unpin and sleeve and reconnect a standard pcie or eps wire with MDPC. The goal of this video is to show the little differences and techniques that are involved when using MDPC Sleeving & Heatshrink. For more information about MDPC or if your are interested in purchasing please visit = http://www.mdpc-x.com/ Also, please remember if you have any questions or if you feel I left something out; either post or feel free to shoot me a PM.

Part 3 - Paracord Sleeving Guide
This video will show you how to unpin and sleeve and reconnect a standard pcie or eps wire with paracord. The goal of this video is to show the little differences and techniques that are involved when using paracord sleeving using both long heatshrink and MDPC.

When I personally sleeve with paracord I will use 450 or 550 cord, which can be found on ebay or army surplus stores. Here is an example of such a store. : HERE

And if you plan on the longer heatshrink method I would suggest you use 1/4
3:1 heatshrink : thin walled. This can be found in many places. Here is a link for a good price on it. : HERE

Again if you have any questions please feel free to ask, and I will get to you asap.

Part 4 Cable Types: Section 1 - Molex 4-Pin Power Cable
This video will show you how to sleeve a Molex powercable with a MDPC Sleeving. Other types of sleeving can be used, but you will need to take in consideration the melting point of the heatshrink as well as the diameter. This is also true for the sleeving as well. You will want to find a heatshrink that is at least 1/4in diameter and either 3:1 or 4:1 shrink ratio, so that it can cover both pieces of sleeving and wires as well as shrink tight.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask, and I will get to you asap.

Part 5 Cable Types: Section 2 - Sata Data Cable
This video will show you how to sleeve a Sata Data Cable with a MDPC Sleeving. Other types of sleeving can be used, but you will need to take in consideration the melting point of the heatshrink as well as the diameter. This is also true for the sleeving as well. If you have any questions please feel free to ask, and I will get to you asap.

Part 8 - Case Fans
This video will show you how to sleeve a Case Fan with a MDPC Sleeving. Other types of sleeving can be used, but you will need to take in consideration the melting point of the heatshrink as well as the diameter. This is also true for the sleeving as well. If you have any questions please feel free to ask, and I will get to you asap.

Part 9 - Heatshrinkless Method - Part 1 Plastic Type Sleeve
This video will show you how to sleeve using the heatshrinkless method with MDPC Sleeving. This is the first part of the heatshrinkless method guides. I used MDPC in this guide as the method can be applied to all plastic type sleeves, my next video will be using paracord.

Part 10 - Double Wire Guide
This will be the Double Wire Guide for cleanly splicing a power supply wire to clean it up. This is most important when dealing with powersupplies that have split wires in many different places. They can make sleeving frustrating if you don't know how to handle them. I hope by watching this it will make the process easy and less agitating.

Part 11- Heatshrinkless Method - Part 2 Paracord Sleeve
This video will show you how to sleeve using the heatshrinkless method with Paracord Sleeving. This is the second part of the heatshrinkless method guides.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JChLj_F3Gss&feature=youtu.be

Part 12- Crimping Guide
This will be the Crimping Guide. I will walk you through crimping each connector that you will run into when making custom cables and also show you the basics of how to adjust and use your crimper.

This section is always being updated with new guides, be on the lookout here and on my Facebook page for updates!

Awesome series, Thanks ^^

Edit: Don't you also need a Jeweler's flathead for opening SATA power connectors to sleeve them? Or do you just cut them off and fit a new connector after sleeving?

This is a great series... Lutro0, thanks for taking the time to disseminate your knowledge and lessons learned.

One suggestion: lately your signature sleeving look has been "shrinkless". I don't know if you feel that deserves a tutorial? It results in such a clean look and I don't think anyone does it as well as you do! thumb.gif

Nope your right, a small screwdriver - Preferable one with a wide flat head that comes to a good point is best as if you use to small of one it will eat into the plastic first. I will add that asap. thumb.gif

I totally plan on making a video for it, I am in the middle of moving to a new house and just started a new job so my time has been a little short. But as soon as we are moved in those are the first guides I will be doing.

Haha! Well it was talked about a while ago and cable sleeving has become so popular that it was thought best if a section was made for it so that everyone's questions could get answered and work displayed!

This looks great thanks for doing videos I like those the best! And quick question how much would startup costs cost for someone like me who has nothing and wants to start sleeving.
