20x faster than the Wii...

Is still just 20x faster than a Turtle.

Graphics really aren't that big of an issue to me for this thing. This will be 1080P and that's all I really care about from consoles. I have a $2000 computer to play games with good graphics. The biggest thing standing in between Nintendo and my money is that I just don't usually like any of their games. Mario and Zelda and Donkey Kong weren't really ever my types of games. They say the Wii U is going to have good third party games, but they've yet to show any exclusives that would warrant me spending $400 or $500 on a new console. Even if the game is better on Wii U than Xbox, I already have an Xbox so I wouldn't go run out to buy the game, plus a Wii U system.

It'll be interesting to see what happens at E3 this year. A Christmas time release would be ideal for this console because I really think Microsoft is producing the next Xbox as we speak. I just can't see them not releasing a new console by the end of next year. And, for the love of Jesus, change the name from Wii U.

Nintendo launched their past 2 consoles in Mid November, I see no reason for that to change this time around.

Regardless of specs, I think all 8th generation consoles will master 1080p/60 by mid-cycle. Its all about how fun the games are.

EDIT: I guess for some, its how compelling the entire platform is for HTPC functions and online services.

Damn 4 core and 8 threads, are they going to make coding complicated like the Cell processor did?

Sounds pretty good for Nintendo.
Now if we end up with some good 3rd party software titles we may have something worth talking about here.
