Have 200 dollars, what do i upgrade?

Helping my friend upgrade his computer, he currently has a asus prebuilt computer with the following. Hes just looking to max out games like league of legends, highish graphics on diablo

mid atx case

500gb sata hdd

e5500 at 2.8 ghz

no graphics card

stock mobo so you can't overclock (has pci 2.0 x16 slot)

300 watt powersupply

so graphics card for sure, power supply to be 500watt for a little bit of upgrade room, then i was thinking another motherboard so i can overclock the cpu, i have a cooler already.

these are what i was thinking for new stuff, used stuff i'm a little skeptical but if it has warranty its fine, i know this market place is good.

you have the right idea :thumb.gif: I really don't feel like scouring the webz for 775 gear..maybe even a Q cpu...That's a lot to pack into $200 though
Videocard n motherboard.Check the marketplace here..and e-bay=best bet

graphics. since amds high end graphics at the time was the 4870x2, witch is like a cfx 6770s, maybe a 6850 or 7770 would do the trick for this.

The 300watt is plenty for a 7750 and the e5500.

I think just a good video card would be good.

Use this with your expected video card to see if your current psu is enough. If not then upgrade that as well thumb.gif

Yeah but you likely don't need that now, save him some money and upgrade that down the road when he actually needs its. No need in wasting money
