yeah..I wouldn't run that high on that board...1.54-ish max..with it @ 4
definitely not @ 6..
I had a vrm failure with 6 cores and 1.57 on my board last night
..waiting on TIM for vrm sink..

really you shouldn't need that much for 4.0 I don't think..

What! What board blew? Mine just shuts down when I go too far. Of course I have massive air blowing on them too.

I'm dialing in my voltages as we speak for the same chip. I'd be willing to bet you can go lower on the voltage. Check the link in my sig, it's a club for owners of the 960T with a ton of OCing results.

At 4000 I'm testing with good results so far at 1.4v but I'm still trying to get that number down. I'm 3 hours and counting at 1.4v and I'm aiming for a bit under 1.4v.

Once you get close to your CPUs limit, it needs more voltage for smaller gains. For example (as an X6), I need 1.425v to do 4000 but only need 1.37 to do 3900.

If you genuinely do need that much voltage for 4000, I'd say back off to 3800 to 3900 and see if you can't do it with less voltage. I wouldn't run this chip 24/7 past 1.45-1.5v.

Mine shut down..@ 1.62 with 6 cores..It's hot here lately...gonna get some TIM and put it on the vrm sinks

im trying to get 4ghz with just the multiplier...my voltage was at 1.5 before i enabled CPU Load Line Calibration..then it went up to 1.572 under load...but stable!...With CPU LLC disabled, it was crashing after 20-30 mins (BSOD). I guess i could try usind the FSB clock too....just seems so much more confusing lol.
EDIT: or what about backing off the Vcore a bit till it hits around 1.54 with CPU LLC enabled?

tryin to stick with the multiplier for now...i will try to lower the cpu core down with cpullc enabled further. 2:08 prime blend test with cpu core at 1.46825 with cpullc enabled
