has anyone with the M5A97 mobo and 960T been able to unlock it to an x6? mine keeps telling me the cpu does not support this feature. i have the latest bios. running at 4.0ghz 1.387vcore with llc off.

yeah. i was hoping it would be because of the bios or a setting, not to sure on how to properly set it up for unlocking with this new bios setup. kind of confusing at time. my first decently good board. in it is the chip than that cool. i have a 4.0ghz x4 then, only paid for a 3.0 x4.lol

try at stock first. set bios to default, enable acc or core unlocker, save and exit.

K so that setup crashed on idle overnight, so i thought i might see if i could push the base clock further.....
during IBT on load
after IBT on idle

all voltages are on auto with llc enabled. Now to see if i can lower the vcore some...

EDIT: only one stick of ram was running, had to bump the timings.... testing again...
passed IBT 50 runs
EDIT: 4.5 hrs on prime 95 now....how long should i keep going?
