Diablo 3 build $300-$500 help - Page 7

Out of curiousity I loaded D3 up on my older gaming laptop...

2.2 GHz C2D
512mb 9600M GT
4gb RAM
1680x1050 res

I had to pretty much turn everything on low with no AA but it was definitely playable. The 9600M was clearly the bottleneck so I installed MSI afterburner and did some overclocking on the GPU. Went from 500MHz to 580, VRAM from 800 to 850 and it actually made a decent difference. I bet the newer AMD APU laptops would have no trouble at all playing D3 on high let alone a $500 desktop.
I have Ryzen!

Hey all just figured i would up date this since it's getting close to when i can purchase this rig.

Been working my hands and eyes to the bone and filling my brain with lots of info..

This is what i have narrowed my Build down to.

Here are my Questions-

- Would any of the cases in THIS post work? Of course right? As long as it's Micro atx Compatible?
- IF any of the below Optional Graphics cards will work in replacement of the HD 6870 that would be perfect.

the parts i have selected below, my total is $679 thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

If i could lower that THAT WOULD BE AWESOME !

Corsair 500Watt PSU

Corsair 4Gb 2X2 DDR3-1333

LiteON Optical Drive

WD 500GB 7200RPM 6GB/S

Intel Pentium G850 Sandy Bridge 2.9GHz WITH ASUS P8H61-M LE/CSM (REV 3.0)

WD 160GB HDD

Windows 7 64-Bit WITH XFX Double D Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express
Optional---Parts---List---Below
Cases in order of Wanted

ZalMan 9 Plus

COOLER MASTER Elite 430

Link textRoseWill Redbone Case

Optional---Replacement---Graphics---Cards

HIS HD 7770 1GB

XFX HD 6770 1GB

EVGA GTX 550 Ti

Now as far as these Optional graphics cards go the HIS HD 7700 is the only one that is 3.0 x 16
Would this be any problem regarding the motherboard i have chose?

Also i have been lugging around the Corsair 500 Watt PSU from build to build, Would it be better to swap it with something else or just keep it?

EDIT
I also know i'm spending more than what the cost would be if i use pcpartpicker.com But i really wanted to keep everything on one bill and one shipment.
newegg is pretty fast with shipping and all the shipping for my list is free (3 day Standard $15 to ship all of it)

Don't worry about the 7770 being PCIe 3.0. 2.0 and 3.0 are compatible with each other and you will NOT see a performance jump by going 3.0 card or motherboard. I would honestly shoot for the 550Ti. I think you will be able to max it out on that card even at 1080p. Get whatever case you like best in your budget range. Also don't worry about any aftermarket cooling, your cpu will barely break 60 watts under load.
