Drop windows and get on other way.... don't wanna say it to be honest.....

I tried to download windows 7 90 day trial to my partitioned HDD just to get used to it. It installed well but i could not for the life of me get my router to be found or my wireless card to show on the device management. So i couldn't do anything with it.

That's why i threw it onto my to buy list. Maybe i have to do a clean fresh install and not have 2 OS.

I didn't want to mess this pc up until i atleast get this new one bought. biggrin.gif

i don't get it confused.gif

So you're saying if i were to use that disc again to install the windows 7 trial on my new pc i'm going to build and then type in my serial off of my vista pc i'm using. It will unlock windows 7 and i can use it on that?

How does that work? lol please enlighten me... That would be mega awesome and save me $100

If you are starting to teeter into the $100+ dollar range on CPU you should just stick with the original Pentium dual core suggestion or just go i3 2100. It would not recommend going with a 45nm CPU that is now 3 generations old (45nm < 1st gen 32nm < 2nd gen 32nm < 22nm) The 125watt phenoms run hot, you will probably want to overclock which means you will have to spend even more money on aftermarket cooling... The i3 and Pentium will run cool as ice on their stock coolers. Just my .02

Very good build, I second this. However, after playing D3 on an old GTS250, I def. feel that you could go with the 7770 easily and put the extra $$ toward the Pentium G630 and a 7200rpm hdd.
It's so little!
