one last question: going through this build log, have you decided which fans you will be sticking with for your rads? or are you still researching? thanks again +rep
If you notice in the picture, I am using AP-15s with 120/140 adapters. I actually just have them fixed on the 5v rail, making them nearly silent minus the quiet grumble present in some of them (the grumble can be addressed with lubricant if it bothers you). If you want an absolutely dead-quiet setup then you would need to use a fan controller, with PWM-enabled fans probably being the quietest.
The PSU worked very well for me, it allows me to use all of my rad space for radiators and with two 120mm fan plates, also allows me to mount my vertical reservoir to it.
My current build does not pump out enough watts to fully utilize the 4x560 radiators (water never goes above ambient no matter how long it runs at full load), so I didn't bother hooking up the other 2x480s. That said, I'm still glad I got the pedestal for the extra cooling because then I'll not have to ever worry about dissipation for future builds. To keep the tubing simple, I have the radiators setup in 2x2 parallel/series.
Having the radiators reverse-mounted and with intake-only has proved a good decision as it makes dust cleanup extremely fast and easy.
