Razer Abyssus Mirror how to turn off the led light?

hey
2 days ago i bought the Razer Abyssus Mirror mouse and the led razer light every time appears even if my pc is turned off...how do i turn off the led light?because i am worried if its going to work like dis every time it might harm the led light....

Not possible to turn it off without completely unplugging your computer or turning off the power supply. Alternatively i guess you could perform some surgery on the mouse, but that is rather extreme.

All abyssus mice work this way. I've never heard of a damaged LED light.

You'll have to open up the mouse and remove the actual LED.

Quite a simple process, but you may need a spare set of feet.

Lol,very weird...no way i am going to open the mouse up haha i prefer to turn off completely the pc...well anyways thanks!

Well, you don't actually need to turn of the computer (PSU) or unplug it. It's ok if you actually just unplug the mouse. It may be the obvious answer and maybe you're not looking for this, but just in case...

Use sledgehammer. That's the best tool for all Abyssus related problems, including jittering.

I followed the instructions in the last post, and had no problems. Just use an exact-o knife to lift the pad enough to get at the screw. When you're finished, the pad will stick right back in place (using your thumb to smooth it). Just take your time and don't force anything. It's really a simple process. Good luck.
