Mouse cursor sticks occasionally?

Hi, yesterday I saw a Razer Deathadder 3.5G on sale for £30, so I thought why not?

I plugged it in but every 5 seconds or so the mouse cursor sticks for a fraction of a second, can anyone think why this would be so? I have two mice plugged in at the same time but it shouldn't make a difference should it?

If anyone can help me troubleshoot this problem I'd greatly appreciate it.

Mine does this when i first plug it in, just restart you pc while the mouse is still plugged in, that should take care of it.

This also happens when I first plug the AM to any USB port, so it's not a DA-exclusive bug.

After a reboot everything goes back to normal, as r_age mentioned smile.gif

Change the USB port. Preferentially use one built-in on the motherboard.

I've never actually tried plugging two mice simultaneously, try disconnecting the other for troubleshooting.

If you have any mouse driver installed, remove it.

This happened with my Lachesis, but does not happen with my Deathadder 3.5G. Strangely enough, it doesn't happen to my gf, who is currently using the Lachesis. As mentioned earlier, it might depend on the USB port that you're using or your motherboard just might not get along with your mouse.

I found it was a driver conflict of sorts with existing drivers that happened when I replugged the mouse into the USB port.
Here's what I'd suggest: fully uninstall all mouse drivers, current and outdated. Reboot your pc, and wait to plug in your mouse until the computer has fully booted and you are in windows. Then install the drivers/software.
