Why the case project was canceled and where we go from here. - Page 2

Spawne,

So what will become of the current design? Such a wonderful design, it would be a shame if it never saw production. Perhaps license the design for a limited production run?

I cannot say to be honest. Despite the decision to cancel the project or "suspend" as they are calling it now. I have been arguing on behalf of the community and daniel @ epic pc's to continue with the production of this case, regardless of how limited a run it may be. I personally feel this case is probably the single most important thing we need to do this year and to fail to produce it is a failure of all of the work put into making this company a part of the enthusiast community. So I will see what I can do over the course of the next few weeks.

Defenitely. Create a very limited run. Sell them and do that again but in white, etc etc etc

I am 100% sure you will sell. I mean even the smaller one was huge compared to competition.

Make it happen guys, make yourself become very premium.

It's too bad cause it's a nice looking case in that ultimate PC kind of way. Generally a fan of small and understated but my next build is going to be big and watercooled and this would have been a nice option.

I could not agree more... You guys have built up a lot expectation around this case and letting it just fade out into nothing would be a mistake. The way I see this (maybe I'm just an optimist); there are people out there that are willing to spend the money on "top tier" cases... We don't even have to look very far to realize that there is a market for $500+ cases out there (Caselabs, Silverstone, Lian-Li) they all make ultra expensive units that may not sell in big volumes, but are there for those people that just won't settle for "normal". There has to be someone at Lamptron (maybe you Spawne... biggrin.gif) that can go up against the "suits" and convince them that it would be a good "PR" move for them to take the case to production now that they've gotten so much attention for it. biggrin.gif
