all i've owned is MSI boards and they're #1 in my book if you're not going SLI

sccr, have you ever heard of disabling sse/sse2 instructions in bios in order to overclock higher?

Use that Digicell or whatever came with it to update the bios. I have a very similar board and it seems to be helping with "control" issues in ocing

1t to a certain point... you can only run 1t to such a high speed, then you have to knock it up to 2t

Okay back to this... I have some new ram and it seems to be very good. I am just having a hard time figuring out how to set up a divider on this motherboard. I can slow down the ram, but that is all it does. If I understand right if I set up a divider as I raise my FSB then my memory speed should go up as well, is that right? can anyone help me figure this out.

Yes,that is basically what a divider is. When you lower the speed, then oc your cpu by increasing fsb, the ram rises back up to its "stock" speed. A divider just gives the ram "space" to raise its speed, cause if you left it at DDR400 (assuming this is stock speed) then you raised you FSB, you ram would rise up past DDR400 speeds, which not all ram can do.

Exactly, when you overclock your FSB the RAM FSB goes up too. Your ram can't stand more than say 250-260mhz tops when you have PC3200=200mhz standard memory. So when you up the FSB, to get a higher overclock with your RAM working smoothly you need to use a divider.
When you use a 166mhz divider, it means that at standard FSB (200) your RAM FSB will just be 166. So when you up your FSB by 20, the RAM FSB will also be upped with 20. 200+20=220 FSB, 166+20=186 FSB, get it?
