Diablo 3 Streaming

good stuff. I will be starting the game this saturday. I've been planning on going with a barb on normal and then a monk on hardcore, but now i'm debating if i should do the opposite of that. ugh these decisions are the toughest

I got a question. I had a barb in act 1 inferno, he had around 7k DPS, 7500 armor, 750+ resists with war cry and around 37K HP, and I still had no chance vs about 30% of the elite/champion packs in act 1. Act 2 was basically out of the question, even those stupid flies hit me for tons of damage, even when my poison resist was around 800. My skills/passives were basically the same that guy Krip uses, the one who seems to be having such an easy time soloing with a barb in inferno and rarely gets killed. Of course my gear is complete crap compared to Krip's. But I feel like I should be doing a little better than I am, or would have at least mitigated the damage down to somewhat sane levels, but its just not the case.

If it wasn't for revenge + furious charge + life drain rune I wouldn't survive even 2 secs, even with all that armor/resists.

I was using superstition + both armor passives. I was using frenzy with sidearm rune on leff click, furious charge + life drain on right click.

Revenge on 1, leap with + armor on 2, Wrath of berserker on 3, and Earthquake on 4. The later 2 were so I could actually do decent damage vs elite packs.

Not good enough for act 2 inferno. Can't solo belial, and I can't beat 90% of the elite packs. Most normal mobs seem manageable, except for those poison shooting flies, or anything that does elemental damage. Those snake men that Wizards/DH seem to hate because they get right up in your face I do ok on, I time a leap right when they are about to appear and fight them off just fine. On teams its even worse because they hit me even harder. It definitely doesn't make my life any easier to team with a DH or wizard. Me + 1 DH couldn't take butcher down before the 3 minute rage timer, but I soloed Butcher no problem, and the DH had around 25k DPS.
