That is correct. eVGA is allegedly making a FTW backplate. Of course I found that out after I bought the 680 backplate doh.gif

Something is definitely wrong. It might be the heatsink mounting not being right. If you feel comfortable (check the warranty to make sure you are not voiding it) then maybe? try to remount the heatsink with a new application of thermal paste. Of course, the safest thing is just to RMA.

Well, im running my gtx 670 ftw overclocked and im not getting more than 30fps at heaven 3.0(everything max at 1920x1080).

its overclocked right, everything is stable temps didnt pass 60 celsius.

My overclock is made in precision X, ive added:

+90mhz on GPU Clock
+850mhz on Memory Clock

This means my memory real clock is 425mhz faster and my gpu is really 90mhz faster.

The problem is, i still get only 30fps.

My pc config is:
8gb 1333mhz corsair vengeance
cpu i5 2500k

I dont know what is happening, someone can help me out?

I agree to the guys talking about evga customer service. Thats what made me pull the trigger. I knew that even if by some chance I got a faulty piece of hardware they would back me up and send me a new one. Asus is known for their horror stories dealing with their customer service. Id rather save 10$, lose like maybe 2-4% performance out of the box, and gain awesome customer support than deal with asus customer service. lol.
Evga is ranked no. 1 when it comes to gpu's by Nvidia. Their quality is un-match-able, and their customer service is impeccable. I own 2 of the EVGA FTW 670's and they are balls out powerful!!! Asus makes garbage products as does Gigabyte and Zotac.

I replaced my GTX 580 Twin Frozr II with a GTX 670 FTW, and I have to admit I'm loving the upgrade. Just wondering if my card has lifetime warranty?

Got mine last week. Great quality, even better performance.

Evga jacob told me 670ftw backplates are in stock now but i dont see them on the site.

Hi fellow FTW owners

I am a Nvidia noob and have two questions:

I am just curious how Memory frequency is calculated?

GPU-Z has it 1552MHz
Precision X has it 3105MHz
it's marketed as having 6008MHz

The precision value always seems to be double the GPU-Z value but sometimes it gets rounded funny..i would like to know how the 6GHz value is calucated.
What's the one value mostly referred to by the enthusiast community??

Also, any known issues with the 304.48 Beta driver or should I just wait for the official release? Any input whether or not it helps overclock any better?
