You are correct that it isn't far behind SB for heavily threaded apps. But that isn't what SB is for...that is what SB-E is for. And when you compare Bulldozer to SB-E well then its over in EVERY category, highly threaded or not.

I hope you aren't serious......kookoo.gif

Nothing personal, I just don't like how people side with one company or another. Seems ridiculous to me. You should do your research and whatever company has the product that gives the best performance for the price range you are at should be the company you buy that product from. Am I missing something? Why doesn't everyone care about how they are spending their money.

It just boggles my mind why people are commited to one company for no other reason than just because.

Plus guaranteeing a company your money doesn't help them innovate if they KNOW they are going to get your money either way. (i.e. Activision with the cod series).

Except they weren't. Not even close. The power requirements to get it high enough to even match or beat phenom 2 were ridiculous. Don't even consider SB or IB in that statement. If it had come close to SB it would have been great. fact was it barely kept up with P2 at those clocks and at the expense of drawing a very high amount of power.

Lol. I was too young back then and i was gathering money for almost a year. You dont expect from a 11 year old to do research and i didint have the knowledge that i have now. And i give my money to upgrade from a p3 1ghz and it was crap. I am almost gaming in my main desktop thats why i have 965 because its plenty enough for gaming. For my job i have the sb-e.

You ruling out intel based on your young inexperienced knowledge with a P3 is fail and by far very out of date.

Fair play your rig fits your needs, But i still see no reason to have a biased one sided mind in the future.

If i was to upgrade right now for my gaming desktop i would go intel but i wouldnt really liked it tho. Its the personal feeling not about performance or whatever.Plus its more funnier to play with AMD for me tongue.gif
