GTs are great fans, except they don't come with the adapters...Like I said, OOTB solution. (Unless there's some OOTB PWM GTs I've missed somewhere, anyway)
Hm, I guess that would have something to do with Noctua not really updating their products often (They added the F12 recently but other than that I'm sure their current fans have been around for more than a few years) but we'll have to see for these upcoming fans.
Panaflo's are great, I've got a low-speed one that I plan on undervolting to 7v once I fix the power connector; great temps with my TRUE.

You wrote OOTB solution without PWM. I'm only talking about the AP-12s and AP-13s, not AP-15's. They run at 800rpm and 1150 RPM respectively without any adapters. I cannot hear the AP-12s at all with it being an arm's length away. I don't remember if I could hear the AP-13s but it was quiet as well.

I used to think Noctua fans were very good before I started trying out different brands. Noctua fans are okay but the GTs to me are better.

Please note: I have GTs and Noctua fans in my computer case right now. The only reason I haven't swapped them out with Noiseblockers or GTs is because the mounting is weird for the D14.
