Hey guys,
Stupid question... Can a single GTX 670 (Asus TOP 2GB) handle three 1920x1080 monitors (5760x1080) without issues? I have read good things on review sites. While I am sure the power is there, I want to make sure that 2GB of vRAM is enough.
My goal is to run BF3 ... I have a feeling that it wont be in ultra while using three monitors, so High would be fine.. just no lower. I would run ultra if turning of AA means my FPS never dips below 50.
Secondly, is there a huge difference between the GTX 680 and 670 when running 5760x1080 if both cards are still limited to 4GB of vRAM? The 570's are looking so nice being $100 cheaper and in stock... If there is hardly any difference and the 570 can triple monitor off without a SLI, I may just jump on that and be done with it. (Down the road, a SLI is $200 cheaper than 680's
Although if a 680 can handle triple monitors much better I would go that route and just hold off till Christmas for the third monitor...
Thank you!
PS, if anyone has seen reviews of a GTX 570 or 580 single card solution being used in a 5760x1080 configuration, specifically with BF3, please let me know. I have only seen SLI reviews where AA is being used hard. I can live without AA if it means keeping Ultra quality.
