GPU WARS : GTX 570 vs HD 7870 vs GTX 580 - Page 2

I think the 7870 is a great card and I would choose it over the 580 and 570! I was going to pick one up but t I went with the 670 instead.

How much were you planning on spending? The GTX 670 will probably be only about 50-$75 more than a 7870 or 580 and will give you the best performance of any of the three cards you listed. If you choose from the three however, I'd go with the 7870.

HD 7870 is the best of the three cards. But its only worth USD 300 or lesser. Not at current prices. You will be able to get a HD 7870 at those prices provided you wait thumb.gif

If you just play at 1080P@60hz there is no point to go higher than a 7850/70.

haha lol, im not even playing at 1080P , only at 1366x768 resolution, i bet these cards are overly overkill with my resolution lol..

i can now imagine on how these cards perform at my crappy resolution, maybe 50fps min average fps to all games? lol... i guess, it might be..

thanks..

thanks..

you should really upgrade your monitor. In lower resolution like yours the cpu is more important than your gpu.
