Thread Starter
Hey Everybody,

So I am upgrading from my failr old E8500 rig, mostly use my PC for only gaming.

I already purchased and recieved the following:

i5-3570k CPU
Gigabyte Z77 UD5H
Phanteks TC14PE Cooler
Corsair Vengeance 8GB low profile RAM.

I'm reusing:

Radeon HD5870
Random HD's
Corsair TX750

OK now my roomates friend is giving me this case because I hooked him up with a windows phone:

I have never used a case like that and my only real concern is if it will be cool enough to run and mildly OC (~4.6Ghz) my new IB 3570k.

What do u guys think will it work out or not so much???

I have never used this case but i'm interested in it to build a new HTPC gaming rig.
It is large and high enough to make a powerful and quiet HTPC and it had good reviews back then in 2008/2009 when they launched it.
Sorry i didn't save links for the reviews but you can find them easily.

The main thing that is actually bothering me with all the desktop Thermaltake cases is that they haven't upgraded any of their past models with USB 3.0 connectors on the front panel.
Most of their competitors have already done it, and also sometimes took this opportunity to change a few other things as well to improve their past models.

So basically it looks like Thermaltake is giving up on the desktop cases front. No new model with USB 3.0 and no old model revamped with USB 3.0 either.

I'm gonna visit them in Computex next week in Taipei and hopefully will get some answers. Though I don't belong to any press, just a random customer with potential business as retailer/reseller/distributor so not sure if i will find someone to give me real intel.
