Looking to buy a new mouse. I currently have your basic Logitech wired combo keyb/mouse. I need a new keyboard more but I think I going to by my friends old cyborg keyboard. The basic mouse has always suited me but I ran across the Storm Xornet. It feel as if that is how I hold my mouse so I was just wondering your thoughts on that particular mouse or recommendation on a mouse for less than 40$ wireless or wired. And if you had preference on a different keyboard for under 50$ I would look at that too.

- I am not on a "budget" but I have never used keyboards and mouse other than basic so I cannot justify spending over 100$ on a keyboard and mouse .

I'm a fan of the Storm Spawn, but it looks almost exactly like the Xornet from the pictures.

Spawn storm and xornet are great mice if you're into the grip style. Go for it.

If you're not so much into the grip, the Deathadder or G400 are also great mice with more traditional shapes and similar price tags.

As for the keyboard, You actually may want to consider bumping your budget to allow for mechanical keyboards. You don't really know what you're missing till you've used one.

I wouldn't bother buying a non-mech keyboard these days now that mechs are once again becoming popular (and as such easy to find one with whatever features you need) unless it's under $5 (and used for a goal where a sub $5 keyboard would be appropriate).

That is what my friend is telling me who is selling a cyborg keyboard for like 40$ but I kind of like buying new lol. What would you recommend then!

Cyborg (assuming you're referring to Saitek's Cyborg line, and not some other company) isn't mechanical FYI.

As for a recommendation, I'd first need to know your preferences. Have you ever used a mechanical? Do you know anything of the switch types?
