Wat. AMD said their graphics card sales were down 7% in 2011. And there haven't been any real super demanding games since Battlefield 3. I don't understand why there would be an increase in demand.

Yeah I mean I am a big fan of both AMD and Nvidia cards mainly for different IQ related reasons. Don't bat for either team. This graph is just ridiculously misleading by Nvidia.

Will people ever stop whining about naming schemes? I couldn't possibly care less about what it was "supposed" to be, all I care about is performance, and looking at that, I couldn't be happier I got two of these cards early. Hell, if people buying 680s are getting ripped off, how are people who got 7970s early supposed to feel?

On a more serious note though: You can't measure something being sold out with a graph like that. If it says units sold out it should technically still mean the same as units sold.

There is neither a face big enough or enough palms available for me to adequetly express my opinion of nVidia's graphs.

Is it just me or does this graph really show that the 680 has 60% less availability than the 580 did? Otherwise known as a bad thing.

OMG fail article,fail! This says absolutely nothing, except Nvidia has SOLD OUT more 680's than 580's, meaning 580's were still available, 680 is not. Holy fail Nvidia!
