My father has an old HP (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00069442&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=405460) and it runs pretty badly as you can imagine. I want to help him get a slight upgrade, and considering the motherboard he currently has can't use anything better than what it already has, might as well get a mobo/cpu/ram combo if anybody happens to have something "alright" for sale.

are you planning on placing motherboard cpu ram combo in same case? Is it a 20 pin or 24 pin atx connector cant remember what that board took.

PM sent your way. I'd suggest extending the budget a little and going with a more complete upgrade. If you stick with that PSU and case you'll be limited by the old 20-pin mobo power connector and possibility have proprietary front panel connectors.
