Okay... You are right in thinking that mem offset doesn't yield that great of a return but if you have a ton of headroom on the mem side, then you will get a few FPS. Look at samwiches!

As example, here is my heaven bone stock GPU (3006 mem):
338

And with 3649 mem only (stock clock):
338

So you should continue to try your mem offset to see how far you can go. thumb.gif

I tried

maximum base clock +73 (1053) -> boost clock 1228

maximum mem +569 -> 3573 mhz

well 1220 mhz boost and 3573 mhz mem isn't thad bad

just ordered 2x LG W2363D now I have three of them

now I need an active displayport to dvi adapter, which will be expensive...

because I need all of them in 120hz -> HDMI not possible, so I can play in Nvidia 3d Vision Surround -> 120hz needed

Hey! When you say 1220mhz boost, I'm assuming you mean the boost that's shown in GPU-Z? Or is it the maximum clock under 100% load, because they can be significantly diffrent. On some cards a 1220mhz boost that is shown in GPU-Z can mean a 1300 + mhz max clock. "Kepler boost" or whatever it's called.
My card GTX 670 windforce only does a 29+ mhz offset which gives it in GPU-Z a 1087 boost, but under 100% load it's nearly 1200mhz.

As I haven't read anyone mention it in this thread and you just writing boost, I'm curious if you mean the max clock or just the boost in gpu-z.

Edit: Also a question, in Heaven even at factory clocks my screen sometimes glitches for a split second, it jumps or something like that. I only notice it in Heaven, does anyone know if that's common or can it be that my card is defect, since it acts that way in factory clocks as well?

You would REALLY be a jerk to RMA a card based on an overclock. Poeple that do crap like that is why RMA's are killing the industry and raising prices continually....eventually most retailers won't accept returns. Your card is fine, keep it. The guaranteed boost of the 670 GPU is 1000 or so. You're way above the
nvidia spec.

hi i just got a new gtx 670 oc from gigabyte,my driver crashes when running 3d mark vantage somewhere,i did uninstall the drivers and reinstalle dthe latest from gigabyte and nvidia,tried this a couple of times. I got 3d mark vantage to complete and give my card a 32000 rating,is this what a 670 is average? a hour about later while watching full HD movie, the driver crashed again. I am fearing my card has a problem, but think its only a driver issue?Plz any help would be apreciated
