I found it a bit hard to use, for example, you could just have an X button pop up when you right click when in an app to close the app, but you have to all way to the left, slide the mouse, and then middle click it. Unless I'm missing some better way...
Which leads to my next point... It isn't intuitive enough in my opinion. I took a while to find some stuff, which in my opinion should never or almost never happen, functionality should be minimally exposed to the user.
Also, I found it a bit inconsistent. What I mean is, a lot of system settings can't be changed through the Metro UI. For example, to change the mouse sensitivity, you have to open the apps menu, and then find and open the control panel, which will open in the old Windows desktop, and it's just annoying settings like these can't be changed from Metro itself. And then the user will have to keep switching back and forth between Metro and the regular desktop, especially if the user has lots of non-Metro programs installed.
However, to be fair, it does seem faster and smoother than Windows 7, which I like. However I didn't test it enough to have a final opinion about perfomance, and the only thing I had installed besides what comes by default was Chrome.
So far, I really tried to adapt to Windows 8, I tried not to hate on it, at least until I gave it a try by myself, but I'm not liking it so far. I really would like to use it, since I love having the latest and greatest, even if it requires me to adapt to it, but in my opinion it's just an inconvenient OS, and I can work a lot faster on Windows 7.
