I'm going to give it an honest test drive in a few mins when it's finished downloading but I gotta say, I've not been really fond of the consumer preview.

...and please don't jump on me about my opinion. We are all entitled to it as long as it's expressed respectfully and maturely I think.

Upgraded from consumer preview just now and all went well. Took only a few minutes. I like it so far.

To be honest, I haven't really used w8 cp much. But I have no problem finding things. If I can't find it then I am sure I won't need it.

100% agree, it's the negative opinions from people that won't even try it because of the lack of start button that bug me. If you haven't used it, you really have no place knocking it down.

Guys, isn't the text on IE 10 extremely blurry? On Win7 + IE9 this can be solved if you disable Hardware Acceleration or run the specific website with the problem in compatibility mode. Now on Win8 + IE 10 these solutions don't work anymore. I hope it will be fixed somehow.

The UI is extremely shiny/polished and I love the squared design. I don't like the curved/rounded corners. Only for this I'm gonna use Win 8, but the lack of Start Button truly bothers me as I don't give a damn about Metro and its apps/gadgets.

Winver shows product expiration on 1/15/2013 just like consumer preview.
