Good,

I think you would be surprised just how little watts the possible setups you have there will consume. GTX 670 SLI would consume sub 600w at full load, even with OC's, the 10 fans, WC. The possible 6850 crossfire, alot less. I wouldn't get 750w for Crossfire 6850's... The listed PSU's below are assuming 2 670's.

If you do want more watts than needed:

750w:
NZXT HALE90 750 $129
Xclio Stable Power Gold 750 $130
Capstone 750-M $140
Seasonic X 750 $160
Kingwin LZP-750 $180

850w
FSP Aurum Pro Gold 850 $156
NZXT HALE90 850 $150

The 850w's... I mean, it's alot better than getting a 1050w but stlll ohsomuchmore than you will use. However I'd only get an 850w with those projected setups only if leaving the possibility of Tri-SLI 670's.

Today's GPU's give us more firepower and less power consumption. I expect that trend to continue.

When i calculate on the eXtreme Power supply calc. Im pulling 838w with (680s) no 670 yet. Kinda cutting it close.

That's a 650w system. Almost all PSU calc's grossly overestimate.

Use Phaedrus PSU Calc

The plan at this point is, if i can get my hands on 1 more hot swap ill run 4 carv greens 2tb in raid 10 on a dedicated PCI-E card. Ill run 2-3 120g Vertex 3's with the south bridge (i believe i can do that) i can back up my OS to the raid 10 array. (i think) and be covered in that manor.

So this weekend i went looking for all my mod items. I started at your usual places, home depot, lows, harbor freight. Out of all of these stores I didn't find ANY plastic polymer spray.......***?!?!?! I found my acrylic panes, some fasteners. Looked at Rustoliums neon green. (wasn't happy with the spray coat it did in store) So now i out reach to you!!!

Has anyone found a neon green paint for metal? Also a polymer that they've used in the past for plastics? I saw the video someone posted on Bob808's build page. But i couldn't find it in store.

Thanks guys,

-T

Krylon Fusion is a paint made for spraying on plastics, just give it a quick once over with an abrasive pad to put some fine scratches in it for paint adhesion. Don`t know if they have the colour you are looking for ! thumb.gifbike.gif

I've had good results with Valspar plastic paint also. Available at Lowes....not a ton of colors. Rust-O-Leum also has a "Universal" paint that will adhere to plastic. LOTS of colors.....but I don't think it bonds as nicely as the Valspar.
