Hi everyone,
I have been extremely frustrated trying to get a good gaming monitor. I used to have an LG227WTG and I must say I never even knew monitors could even have noticeable ghosting/blurring before. Unfortunately I had to sell it because I moved countries... I am actually considering just trying to buy an used one since they don't sell new ones anymore...
Anyway I have since bought 2 monitors first an ASUS VS228H-P, at first I was quite satisfied, but then I started to notice the weirdest thing ever, it wasn't easy to notice, but once I did it was always there, what happened basically is whenever there was motion everything went very very slightly pixelated and I could see a really tiny mesh of "greenish" pixels that settled as soon as movement stopped. It is still unclear to me why nobody mentions this on the reviews, or if maybe I am just too picky about this, someone in this forums said it was possibly inverse ghosting but I am not sure. What do you guys think?.
Because the ASUS VS228H-P was a disappointment once i realized that weird greenish pixelation on movement (despite the monitor having perfect reviews everywhere). I decided to buy the BenQ GL2450HM I must say I am absolutely impressed with how crisp and good the images looked, but now I am noticing slight ghosting as well, but the most annoying thing is blurring on fast movement.
At this point I am thinking about forgetting about the GL2450HM and getting another monitor, but I have no idea what to get now. Any suggestions? this is what I need from a monitor:
Need:
*The least ghosting/blurring/reverse ghosting/overshooting possible (very high priority)
*low-medium input lag (don't really care too much as long as it is not too high)
*Ok colors and 250 cd brightness
*Either 22, 23 or 24 inches
*LCD or LED is fine
*Not washed out colors
*If possible under 300 dollars, but if it is worth more and meets my requirements then I will buy it. Of course if it meets my requirements for a lower price then even better
.
Dont need:
*Bigger than 24 inches
*3D
*IPS
*120 hz
*sleek design or something that just looks nice
*strong stand (could care less about that)
*easy to access menus (could care less about that too)
Any suggestions for this?. My research tells me Asus VH236H or VS248H-P could be good choices, but I really don't know. Are there any good LG monitors now?, I was so satisfied with my LG227WTG..
Thank you in advance,
Oscar
