evga precision does not apply overlock on startup

Thread Starter
Like the title says, EVGA Precision does not apply my overclock upon startup even with the box checked.

I have the latest nvidia drivers and the latest evga precision.

Any thoughts on what I should do?

The only reason I don't just use AB is because the voltage limit is higher in EVGA precision.

have you got the 'start with windows' box checked in the precision settings? (not the box on the main window)

I didn't know it did save them, I have to do it manually, even though its starts on start-up.

also you might have to save your overclock into one of the profiles (left click on number) but i'm not sure

Yes I have the first profile saved as my overclock. I have the "start with windows" option checked in the general tab and I have the "windows start up" box on the main window checked.

The thing is, the slider says 920mhz when I startup, but gpuz, the graph in evga precision, and where it says "gpu clock" in evga precision all show 797mhz and benchmarking shows that this is indeed correct.

Some sets, 300.83 most notably, I would have to redo the overclocks everytime I restarted the computer.

Mine is always set to where I leave it at anytime windows starts up, I never have to change it. The only time the graph is different from the slider for me is when the gpu isnt being used and its kind of like in a sleep mode state or whatever.

I hate using the profile because they dont save the voltages in them. So anytime I need to change it my OC i do it manually without presets.

It doesn't matter whether I have the OC profile saved or not. Either way it does not keep my OC after rebooting.

Not sure which version of Precision you have but update it to the latest one..

Below the memory clock slider bar, should say "Windows start up" make sure the box is checked and you have to hit apply after checking it.

Once you do that, restart and see if it works.

.......I clicked the update button on evga precision and it tells me I have the most up to date version.

And like I've already posted, the box is checked and has been checked the entire time.
