his excalibur radeon 9600 xt turbo platinum pack

i just bought this video card (as title) and on the case it say's (turbo 650 mhz memory clock) and on ati driver (ati overdrive) it say's (core : 500 mhz - memory 324 mhz)

which i dont understand why its not 650 mhz on memory ? uhhh please answer my question someone im realy confuse.

oh and its not the 128 mb model but the 256 mb one (better)

Well i would check you speeds in a utility called ATI TOOL as thats very accurate : http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/

i tried it. it says 324 mhz (when i start it) but if i try to boost the speed up to 650 mhz on the memory lol everything blow and i gotta reset pc fast before it burn my card... i realy dont understand why it says 650 mhz memory clock speed on the case if its not what it doing.

You have to times in by 2. 324x2= 648. Basically 650mhz all together

The ram is DDR, which means Double Data Rate. It's processing 2 times the information per clock so its equal to twice the speed. 324 x 2 =~650

You have to get that speed and times it by 2 then you get your overall value...Your card in other words is fine.
