Yeah I also say drop the water, and if you're overclocking a E6300/E6400, fast ram is KEY. Go for PC2-6400 IMO.

Spending money on a PSU isn't necessairly a bad thing, I like to think of it as one of those purchases that can last a long time. If you do want to drop your PSU price, I very much like the PSU I bought; the link below is for the 495 version (I have the 420 version and OC'ed to 3.2GHz!)

Well, there would go the $40 I saved on the CPU thanks to charliemack lol... Appreciate the feedback & I know about the Seagate quality. I'm gonna think about this one.

Agree on the RAM... Yeah, I'll bump it up to the suggested RAM like you & niko-time say.. Any brand of PSU come highly recommended for this type of setup?

Considering the size of your case...the Thermaltake Big Typhoon would be fine. Spend a couple of bucks on a small tube of AS5 (Artic Silver 5) conductive paste (for between the TT BT and the CPU).

I just hope that ram overclocks well... because to hit 3.2GHz you'll need your ram @ DDR2-916... I'm not familiar with that paticual set, and nobody overclocked it in NewEggs reviews.

But then again, you're pretty much guaranteed to hit 2.8GHz w/o a hitch

I'm not either. GSkill like any other manufacturer makes normal ram and HOT ram. Anyone know how hot this RAM can get? Worst case, you can loosen the ram timings.
