Motherboards are generally a hit or miss, you have had great experiences with gigabyte, but I know a few people who havent and now wont touch them. I personally love my Asrock board, and I have gotten plenty of my friends to get them too. None that I know of have ever had any problems.
So do you want an ITX build? or is MATX small enough?

I lowered the SSD to a 64GB to be used as a boot drive, the HDD is a 2.5" 5400RPM drive, which is why I kept the SSD
