Are there any small WU anymore?

I've not been folding as much as I used to but when I do I get WUs with a TPF of 14 minutes on my 1090T. Is this the norm naow?

Seems like it would be a burden for new folders if it takes more than a day to finish 1 WU. What ever happened to the 912/925 WUs?

Specifying small packets in the config gets me mostly units which have a TPF of around 3-4min on my X6.

I have had mixed luck specifying the size of the WUs I want to receive. However that is a good place to start. I do however agree that it is quite annoying to receive huge WUs that take over a day to complete. I find that whenever I get those some random problem crops up at 90%+ completion and I loose everything.

But basically its all random luck. The 10+ minute TPF WUs are pretty rare so just let that complete and then hopefully you will get a more manageable one

Try turning off the advmethods flag. I did this during CC with my game rigs 2500k and got nothing but the smaller wu's. With it on i get nothing but 6097, 6098, and 6099 which all take a while to finish.

With the -advmethods and small packages specified I mostly get 7500, 7501, 7503, 7504 et.c. which have a TPF of about 3-5min on my X6 and 2500K (and better PPD than the non-adv WUs).

Allows access to beta WUs
Name: client-type
Value: advanced

Allows access to bigadv WUs (if your system is eligible)
Name: client-type
Value: bigadv

Changes the detail level of the slot log (it is recommended not to change this unless asked)
Name: verbosity
Value: x

Pauses the slot after 'x' WUs have been completed (0 means unlimited)
Name: max-units
Value: x

When the current WU hits 'x'%, the client will begin downloading the next WU (x should be between 90 & 100)
Name: next-unit-percentage
Value: x

Sets a passkeys for a specific slot (can be different to the passkey entered in the "Identity" tab)
Name: passkey
Value: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (32 characters)


Uncommon flags

Creates a checkpoint every 'x' minutes (per slot, not client)
Name: checkpoint
Value: x

Sets the priority of the FahCore_xx to idle or low

Folding slots will be paused when the client opens; you will need to start them manually
