Wondering if it is really worth upgrading from a GTX 460 to a GTX 560 Ti?
And does anyone out there think it would be worth $100 to do so?

Not really, you will probably only see at most 5fps.
Edit: actually if you have the smaller 768mb version you might get about 10 fps because of the larger vram.

no, definitely not a $100 upgrade. You could get a second 460 for that much which would give you much better performance overall thumb.gif

OP what gtx 460 do you have? But, I will have to agree it would be better to get a second 460 for that price. But if you dont want 2 cards a 560 ti is a pretty nice upgrade.

Thanks for the input guys, its actually my old 560 ti as I'm now running a 7970 (about to Crossfire too!)

My mate is running the 460 (1GB) and was looking at trading me my old card and chipping in some extra cash.

So if i trade my 560 ti for his 460, how much cash should he flick my way?

Well he should pitch in more of about 80$. His 1 gig 460 is worth 90-100$. I have seen 560ti's go for about 180$ on the market place thumb.gif
