hey guys! k let me jump right into it, im going to be converting to small form factor, im set on everything, but one thing, the sgo8 is the case im getting, im going to have it modded for a window on the side, and im wondering what version looks better since i found a guy who has his window removed (how he got a sg08 window is beyond me) so it looks like the window is on the inside of the case,

so what looks better

window on inside? (this pic is taken with a nice camera so it does look nice kinda unfair for the pic without the window)
400

window on outside (this is from sg07 and if its going on the outside it will not have holes same with going on inside)

338

thx for your help

It looks like the first guy just used an SG07 panel cover on his SG08 frame. That would explain the window. Silverstone has not released a windowed SG08.

I really don't think the first one has a window at all. If you look in the picture the GTX 690 is reflecting the table a little bit. There is nothing in between them to affect the image and you don't see any reflections from a panel there.

I also don't think that there is even enough room to place the window on the inside of the case. If you really want to place the acrylic on the inside I would take a router and make the edges thinner so the main part of the window sits flush with the panel on the outside.

thx for the response! yea i know he did not use a window, but it got me thinking about having a window on the inside, but i was afraid of the size inside because i noticed alot of video cards in the case come really close to the panel, well i dont want to risk it, so i think i will go witha window on the outside

aren't you a little worried about ventilation?
how are you going to accomplish that?

thats something i really kinda shrugged off, do the holes really make that big of a difference in cooling?
